Find Your Voice in NPL's Summer Reading Challenge!

Come one, come all to the NPL Summer Reading Challenge, "Find Your Voice!" The goal is simple: to read every day. All ages can participate! Every type of reading, from digital content to magazines to books, counts, and for little ones who can't read yet, you can read TO them. You can sign up on Beanstack and track reading time for yourself and / or your fam in the app or on the website. Uncomfortable with digital options? We have a paper log you can complete (pick it up at the library or download it here), and we will enter the reading into Beanstack for you. Reading can be logged from June 1 through July 31.

Best of all, we will reward you for reading and completing Summer Reading-themed library activities. You earn tickets for both, which you can use to enter prize drawings for gift cards to some of Bloomington-Normal's most popular local businesses. The younger set earn Book Bucks with their reading, which they can spend upstairs at our second-floor Prize Store. Activities to earn tickets include options for all ages and reading abilities that will encourage readers to create, explore, connect, and play. The last day to enter tickets for drawings on Beanstack is August 3 (and we can do this for you if you're not comfortable digitally). August 7 will be the last day to pick up prizes at the library.

Don't miss some of our fun Summer Reading events, including:

June 14–July 12: Summer Poetry Walk at Rosa Parks Commons

June 30: Fantastic Foam & More Science Show

July 31: End of Summer Foam Party

And so much more! Check it out in our online calendar or Activity Guide. Join the band and Find Your Voice in Normal Public Library's Summer Reading Program!
