AAPI Heritage Month at NPL

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and we are celebrating at NPL!

All month long, kids can participate in our Celebrate AAPI Month Scavenger Hunt. Stop by the second floor desk to pick up a scavenger hunt sheet and find the hidden book covers!

Drop by the Café Monday, May 16 between 4:00 and 6:00 for a virtual reality (VR) experience focusing on critical moments in Asian American history. This event will touch on some difficult topics and is most suitable for ages 10 and up.

In addition to our events, explore the stories of Asian American and Pacific Islander lives and experiences with a book!  We have collected a list of some recommendations here to get you started.
