The library will be closed beginning at 5 pm Saturday, March 30

Normal Public Library at 206 W. College Ave. will be closed beginning at 5 pm Saturday, March 30 for asbestos abatement and renovation. The building will remain closed for the duration of the project. Limited library services will be available at 201 W. College Ave. beginning at 9 am on Monday, April 1.

Stranger Than Fiction book club meets once a month to discuss memoirs, biographies, true crime and other nonfiction titles.

September's book is Ruthless Tide: The Heroes and Villains of the Johnstown Flood, America’s Astonishing Gilded Age Disaster by Al Roker. Copies of this title will be available to pick up at NPL - ask at the front desk.

Registration is required and space is limited. This event will take place at the Beer Hall at DESTIHL.  Please look for the Stranger Than Fiction book club sign on our table.  We will sit outside if the weather is nice!
