Event Details

A book club for all things graphic novels and comics! We’ve picked out titles to read each month, then we'll meet up to chat, enjoy themed activities, and make friends! While reading the book is encouraged, it is not necessary to attend. Selected graphic novels will be available to pick up at NPL - ask at the front desk of our temporary branch (201 W. College Ave). Light snacks will be served! We will be sampling an arrangement of Japanese snacks including: Kyoshin Rice Cakes with Berry-Flavored Bean Paste, Calbee Takoyaki Balls (Japanese-Style BBQ Corn Puffs), Meiji Chocorooms, and Strawberry Gateau Chocolate KitKats. Bring your library card if you'd like to check out next month's book and any read-alikes! This session will be discussing "Anzu and the Realm of Darkness" by Mai K. Nguyen!
