The Fusion Edge 12 is a 60-watt CO2 laser system. The laser can be used to etch text or images and cut shapes into a wide variety of materials. The laser can engrave and cut a variety of materials including wood, acrylic, fabric, cork, rubber, slate, glass, and so much more. Use the rotary rim attachment for cylindrical objects like drinkware.
Use your own design or find an image online. Then import the image into Inkscape, which is available in the Tinker Studio.
All materials must be preapproved by a Tinker Studio staff member for use in the laser system. Maximum size is 12” x 24”.
