Do you create with a needle and thread through cross stitch, embroidery or crewel? However you use your needle, please feel welcome to come and share your time and experience with other needle workers.

Celebrate National Poetry Month with a poetry slam! Join us in the teen space on the first floor to share your original work or a favorite poem, listen to others read and perform, and enjoy several other poetry-related activities.

Craft, experiment, design, and create with other makers! Every month we will meet to work on a new project.

Come learn about the easy-to-use 3D design app TinkerCad! Each session you will have the opportunity to use TinkerCad to create your own 3D design to go along with that month’s theme.

Check out NPL's romance book club! We'll be discussing a romance fiction book in NPL's newly-refurbished Board Room on the fourth Thursday of the month at 6.30 pm.

Celebrate reading during El día de los niños/El día de los libros (Day of the Child/Day of the Book) at Normal Public Library (206 W. College Ave., Normal, IL) with the Bloomington and Normal public libraries!

Drop in any time between 11 am and 1 pm to speak with staff from the Center for Human Services. You can ask questions about services, get connected with resources, or just ask their staff about what they do.

Take a break from your busy day to join us for a beginner-level yoga class over your lunch hour in the Community Room. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat or beach towel.

Join fellow fans at NPL’s new horror club. We will meet to discuss a different book, movie or other creepy, spooky material each month. Movies screened might be rated R and we are likely to encounter violent or disturbing images.
