Do you love browsing through cookbooks and trying new recipes? Do you enjoy sampling and sharing those recipes? Grab your apron and join our cookbook club! 

March 26th: Half baked Harvest Every Day : Recipes for Balanced, Flexible, Feel-Good Meals by Tieghan Gerard or choose a recipe from her blog:  

May 7th: Sweet or Savory Pies (no selected cookbook)

Choose a recipe from the featured cookbook or theme, prepare your recipe at home, and bring it to the library to share for a tasting with others! Cookbooks will be available to pick up at NPL - ask at the front desk. Please indicate in the Special Notes box when registering which recipe you’d like to bring or let us know at or 309-452-1757 so we can avoid duplicates. Please use this space to indicate any allergy concerns you may have as well. Staff will confirm your recipe choice via email shortly after registering. Registration for each meeting is required - only registered cooks will be able to attend. Disposable tableware will be provided. 

Please note: recipes will be prepared in personal kitchens, not commercial spaces; eat at your own discretion.
