Every fall and spring semester, we will pair college students with grade school students to read together and enjoy the library. The pairs meet once a week for 45 minutes, throughout the semester.
The goal of Partners in Reading is to foster a life-long love of reading and of the library. Meeting times are flexible! We begin our sessions at the top of the hour. Participants may select any hour on Mondays through Thursdays from 3:00 to 7:00 pm to meet.
Registration for the fall semester of Partners in Reading begins August 1 until September 8. Sessions begin the week of September 11 and run for 10 weeks. This program is open to kids in grades K-6th.
While we try really hard to match every child that signs up for the program, we hope you’ll understand that the number of kids matched depends on the number of college students that register – and vice versa!
