The Bloomington & Normal Trades & Labor Assembly (AFL-CIO) is sponsoring a question and answer session with acting Illinois Department of Labor Director Jane Flanagan on Thursday, July 13, 6:30 p.m., at the Normal Public Library Community Room, 206 W. College Avenue, Normal.

The session is designed to answer workers’ basic questions about Illinois labor laws. Topics may include wage and hour laws, prevailing wages, misclassification, mandated breaks, and rest periods.

The session is free and open to the public.
