Event Details

The interest in family history has grown exponentially over the last decade and has become a national phenomenon. Nicka Smith, professional genealogist and expert in African ancestored genealogy, reverse genealogy and in researching enslaved communities, leads this session on the basics of genealogy research and ways that descendants of both free people and the formerly enslaved can trace their ancestors.

This event will take place on Zoom.
