The library will be closed Sunday, April 20 for Easter. Our on-site and off-site bookdrops will remain open. Curbside pickup will be unavailable. We will reopen on Monday at 9 am.

Event Details

How can you help the bees? Both honeybees and native bees need our help. Understanding their life cycles will help you understand the needs of the bees. Join us as we learn about what you can do to help the bees. 

This program will be taught by Patti Koranda, PK. Patti has been a beekeeper for 10 years, Board office with Central Illinois Beekeeping Association (CIBA), manager of the beehives at Sugar Grove Nature Center, a master naturalist, and a retired teacher. 

This program is offered in partnership with Bloomington Public Library. Registration is required and space is limited.  Please register through Bloomington Public Library's website.

This event will take place in the library's Community Room.  All in-person events will follow current library policy regarding masks.
