Event Details

Have a hard time fitting a book club into your schedule? Every month we will discuss a short story, essay or article.

This month we will be discussing "The Accusations Were Lies. But Could We Prove It?"by Sarah Viren. If you do not have a New York Times subscription, you can redeem access to NYTimes.com for 24 hours, courtesy of the library. Find more information on our Online Learning & Resources page.

This event will take place outside, on the east side of the Community Activity Center at 1110 Douglas St., Normal, the building to the north of the circular drive at One Normal Plaza. In case of inclement weather, the event will be inside the Community Activity Center, in the classroom. If the event is held inside, masks will be required for everyone attending.

This inaugural meeting of The Busy People Discussion Group is for adults ages 18 and over. Registration is required and begins on September 8 at 9 am. Space is limited.
