Bilingual Book Reading

In partnership with Illinois Art Station and Chiddix Junior High School’s ESL class, Illinois State University’s English 345 class worked on a civic engagement project where they helped build bilingual books and guided immigrant youth in creating stories about their transnational lives. Join us as we celebrate the books created by the Chiddix Junior High’s multilingual learners, who will also be there to share their stories with the community.
