From classic cross-stitch alphabet samplers to modern-day movie quotes and "Keep Calm and [fill-in-the-blank]" slogans, embroiderers frequently stitch letters to add messages to their pieces. Bring a favorite quotation, name, slogan or text message and we'll find the right font and stitch for expressing it. Patterns will be on hand for several lettering styles, or students can learn a simple backstitch to free-stitch what they want to say.

This class will be taught by Heather Evert, who is certified by the Japan Temari Association.

All skill levels welcome.
