University Galleries will host an all-ages read-aloud of original poetry read by Poetry is Normal Presents poet, Kathleen Kirk, followed by a digital photo editing artmaking workshop. The readings and workshop are inspired by the nature-themed videos of Chris Welsby and photographs of James Welling on view at University Galleries from March 1 - March 31, 2024. A collection of related materials from Normal Public Library will be available to check out with your library card.
Digital art created by participants will be displayed in an online gallery.

This event will take place at University Galleries, 11 Uptown Circle, Suite 103. Free one hour parking is available in the deck directly above the gallery.
