Last day for book reviews!

Posted by kacates on July 6, 2011

Just a reminder to everyone participating in A Midsummer Knight’s Read summer reading program, today (July 6) is the LAST DAY to turn in your book review for a chance at a prize in our mid-program drawing. We’ll be doing the drawing tomorrow (Thursday, July 7) and sending out the postcards in the mail to our winners by the end of the week.

The grand prize for this drawing is a book basket stuffed full of great teen reads that fit this summer’s theme: from knights to fairies to classic Shakespeare plays, plus a few extra surprises! Here’s the books we’ll be giving away:

  • Here Lies Arthur by Philip Reeve
  • Foiled by Jane Yolen
  • Warped by Maurissa Guibord
  • Alanna, the First Adventure by Tamora Pierce
  • The Warrior Heir by Cinda Williams Chima
  • Heir Apparent by Vivian Vande Velde
  • The Iron King by Julie Kagawa
  • Ophelia by Lisa M. Klein
  • A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare

In addition to our grand prize winner, ten lucky participants will receive pool passes for all Normal Parks and Recreation Dept. pools for the rest of the summer! So hurry up and turn in your book review by today if you haven’t already!
