New monthly event – Teen Craft Club

Posted by kacates on September 17, 2010

Starting in October, the library will be hosting a monthly craft day for teens on the first Monday of each month.  I'm really excited about our first craft project, Thai string dolls.  I hadn't heard of these things until I saw the 4YA page, but apparently they're becoming a global smash hit, especially in Asia.  I'm definitely sold on the idea – they're so cute, and all we'll need is some embroidery floss, felt, and beads and other little odds and ends.  So come join us on Monday, October 4 from 4 to 5:30 to make your own adorable little keychain doll.  And if you've got any great ideas for a craft we should do, please let me know!
