Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the library for laptops and other personal devices.
The Wi-Fi network is titled “npl.” There is no password required and you should be able to connect easily.
The library offers a self-serve fax machine, which you can find near the Reference Desk.
You can use your credit card or purchase a Fax Cash card at the Front Desk.
Rates are $1.75 for the first page and $1.00 for each additional page if you are faxing domestically.
If you are faxing internationally, the rates are $3.95 for the first page and $3.45 for each additional page.
The library offers free Notary services.
Several staff members are Notary Publics and we try to have at least one available whenever the library is open.
Staff schedules change, though, so it is best to call ahead at 309-452-1757 to make sure that someone will be here to help you when you plan to come. If your documents require witnesses, you will be required to bring witnesses with you. Library staff are not available to serve as witnesses.
Please note: Library notaries will not notarize documents of conveyance for qualifying residential real property located in Cook County, government I-9 forms, nor can the library provide an Apostille.
Weekdays from 9:00 to 12:00 and 2:00 to 5:00 are the times when we are most likely to have a Notary Public available. Always call ahead, please.
Use the library’s 3D printer for free! Create your own design or find a fair use design on the internet. Items should be 3″ by 3″ by 3″ or smaller. Save the design in .STL format to a USB drive and submit it at the Front Desk with this request form.

Anyone who lives in Normal can get a library card. Bloomington residents may register their Bloomington Public Library card here, thereby allowing check out of Normal Public Library materials.
